How does UVRS work?
Choose a topic and a city, discover profiles and prepare a first message. UVRS aims to help people meet and talk in real life.
Simple or complete profile?
A simple profile lets you contact people without appearing in search. A complete profile shows your city, interests and the sections you choose, and can be found in search.
Can I leave sections blank?
Yes. Only your display name is required. Every other section is optional and can be completed later.
How do I resume my profile?
Log in and open Profile, then Edit my profile. Everything you saved is there.
Do I have to show my face in my photo?
No. A photo is optional, and you decide what to show.
How do I add a topic or language?
Open Edit my profile. Pick topics from the list, add your own with Enter, and choose your languages and levels.
Will my message draft be saved?
If you allowed optional storage in your cookie choices, an unsent message is kept on this device until you send it.
Are messages really sent?
Yes. Messages reach the other person right away and are stored in your conversation.
Why do some profiles show a rate?
A member can indicate an hourly rate. It is only an indication: you agree the price directly, and UVRS handles no payment.
How do I choose my cookie settings?
Open Cookies from the links at the bottom of any page, then press My cookie choices.
Can I delete my data?
Yes. From My account you can download your data and delete your account with everything attached to it.
